Vancouver · Lab-Grown
Lab-grown diamonds, sold honestly.
Real diamonds, grown in weeks instead of eons. Larger for the money, falling in price, and we will be the ones who tell you both.
Most Vancouver retailers sell lab-grown stones at margins the stones no longer justify, because the price tags fell slower than the wholesale market under them. We price lab stones to the live market, to the dollar, and reprice as it moves. In a falling market, that is the only honest way to sell them.
What a lab stone is, and is not
It is carbon in the same crystal as a mined diamond: the same hardness, the same light, graded by the same independent laboratories on the same scales. It is not rare, and it is not an investment. Most engagement ring centre stones sold today are lab-grown, chosen mostly for one reason that is perfectly sound: at a set budget, the stone on the hand is about twice the size.

Reading the inventory.
Live and market-priced. When the market falls, so do these numbers. We consider that a feature.
When we would talk you out of it
If the piece is meant to be handed down with its story, or if part of the purchase is the knowledge that the stone is genuinely scarce, lab is the wrong answer and we will say so. The full comparison, natural against lab at one budget with live stones, is in our honest guide.
Asked, answered plainly
Are lab-grown diamonds in Vancouver worth buying?
Yes, for the right reasons. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond and buys roughly twice the size at the same budget. It will not hold resale value, and we tell every buyer so before they pay. Buy it for the hand, never as an asset.
How much do lab-grown diamonds cost in Vancouver?
Meaningfully less than natural, and less every year, because wholesale lab prices keep falling. We price our lab stones to today's market, precisely, and reprice as the market moves.
Are lab-grown diamonds certified?
Every loose lab-grown stone we offer carries its own report from an independent laboratory such as IGI, stating its grades and its lab-grown origin. A finished piece at 0.30 carat total or more carries an IGI jewellery report for the piece as a whole, and any single stone of 1 carat or more carries its own certificate as well; the smaller diamonds are not individually graded. Verify the report number at the laboratory before you pay, with us or with anyone.
